My fifteenth “12 of 12”.

All pictures were taken by me with my iPhone 4S.

The 12 of 12 challenge was created by Chad Darnell and picked up from a number of random bloggers who then linked back to him and vice versa. Chad stopped doing the 12 of 12 links in December of 2011, but has now passed the torch on to Janet Hughes. I’m linking with her, but I’m also giving a shout out to to Blobby’s Blog as Blobby is the one who inspired me to do it.

8:00 AM: Wake up juice. Why am I up so early? Especially since I was beveraging until around midnight. And why is there schmutz on the countertop?

8:02 AM: My office needs to be... organized. Boxes from recent computer parts purchases. And you don't want to know why there's plastic sheeting hanging up in my office. Trust me.

11:02 AM: Today was vintage-y shirt shopping day. This was one I tried on. I really don't like clothes shopping, but it's much better with friends.

11:40 AM: My shopping coaches—the fabulous GypsyBiscuit and Dwayne—perusing items at one of the several thrifty, vintage-y stores we went to. Thank y'all for taking me!

1:20 PM: And then we somehow managed to get behind the Hamburglar on a moped. Welcome to Arkansas, y'all!

4:16 PM: One of my purchases today: a sport coat. Fancy! Now I kind of look like some sort of psychotic professor.

6:23 PM: Today's haul. Somewhat vintage-y long sleeve shirts. Now I can be all fancy dressed at the studio. At least way more fancy than I currently dress.

10:15 PM: Working on a tattoo design for a client. Rough draft #4.

10:40 PM: I don't like chocolate. Really. I don't. But I might have eaten all the Special Dark ones in the Party Bag I bought. For the tattoo shop. And then I felt the need to stack them too.

11:40 PM: I managed to break my iPhone case somehow today. I've only dropped my phone a crap-load of times, so there's no telling what made it break. ;-)

A big thank you to the fabulous GypsyBiscuit and Dwayne for guiding me in the shopping today. I had fun. Who’d have thought that would be possible while shopping?

Now to get back to my drawing….

Until next time...
Erik

  1. I love thrift shopping. In a men’s store a rack of shirts is a hundred of the same shirts in different sizes. in a Thrift Store the rack holds a hundred different shirts and is great fun to o through. Also, I’m cheap, so I like the pricing policy. 🙂

  2. Um, you didn’t even mention your fabulous, newly-acquired cashmere top coat or our experience with the Thai virgin… WTH?

  3. I absolutely love to shop at Vintage stores, and I am totally ragging on the shirts you bought, I especially love the jacket. Can I just also give you a major high 5 for the glass/jar. Awesome.
