New Orleans Bound
The Husbear and I are heading to Southern Decadence in New Orleans happening over the Labor Day Weekend. This will be the first time either of us have gone to an event like this, so we’re both really excited! we’re going with several friends of ours, so we won’t be going alone. We had another friend who was supposed to go as well, but just started a new job and couldn’t take off. Hopefully, we’ll have lots of stories and pictures to post after all is said and done.

Just returned from a good time in Houston. It was a lot of hard work and long hours, and it was a nice break away from “normal” life. Granted, I didn’t do anything that would qualify as exciting, but I had a good time none-the-less.

I’m currently a passenger in a vehicle headed for Houston, TX. I’m going there for work. I’m part of a small setup crew for our yearly Holiday Meeting. Not sure what to think about this whole thing yet. But at least I get to take the laptop and work on this site for a change (it’s only a 12 hour drive, and I have to have something to keep me occuppied!). The Husbear, on the other hand, doesn’t really want me gone, but the money is good, and I can start the bathroom remodel at the house when I get back!
