Pic a Day in May: Day 30
Jim of Jim’s Stuff started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge last year. I did it last year, and felt like I’d do it again this year.
Day 30. Another long day of poking clients. But I managed to close the studio in time to get to the gym tonight. You know, that place I hate.
However, there is one thing I like to do. If I can have the area to myself…
Mine. All mine. Apparently going to the gym late at night has some advantages. Like no one using the pool.
I like to be in the water. I feel better when I’m in the water. At least water where I can see the bottom and know there’s no big sea creatures coming to get me.
I only swam for about 20 minutes, but that’s 20 minutes more than my body is used to.
And then I made it home just in time for the tornado sirens to go off as a nasty storm front rolled through. No tornado here. But a lot of lightning, thunder, and wind damage from what I can hear. I guess I’ll know in the morning when the sun comes up.

Pic a Day in May: Day 29
Jim of Jim’s Stuff started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge last year. I did it last year, and felt like I’d do it again this year.
Day 29. A long day! Got to the studio waaayyyyyy early this morning to finish drawing up the large tattoo for today. Which I did. Or started, rather. Nine hours of tattooing, and we’re probably a little over halfway completed. It’s a cover up. On my buddy Dwayne. And that was what I was going to post a photo of tonight.
But instead, when I got home I found this note taped to my monitor:
I know his grammar isn’t perfect, but after all these years I’ve just come to accept that. And I love him all the more for it.

Pic a Day in May: Day 28
Jim of Jim’s Stuff started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge last year. I did it last year, and felt like I’d do it again this year.
Day 28.
So… I missed a few days. Only because I was out camping in an area that zero cell service. I could have pre-planned pictures for those days, but that seemed like cheating to me since I didn’t take the pictures on that day. So instead you got nothing.
But I’m back! I need to write about the camping trip. /mental_note
And right back to the studio I go!
I have several large tattoos to do this week. The plan was to do some drawing on the camping trip, but that didn’t happen. Here’s hoping I get them drawn out in time.

Day 23. Long but slow day. But my 4 day weekend starts now!
And what do I do? Something I rarely do. I sit down and watch some television. Mostly because the DVR is filling up.
