I went to bed last night at 1AM with no snow falling. I woke up this morning at 9:30 to 18". It is still snowing now, at 1:12 PM.

It's now an A-frame birdhouse. (click to embiggen)

On the news this morning, they posted the NW Arkansas-area seasonal snow fall records since 1940:
25.8" in 2009 - 2010
25.0" in 1977 - 1978
22.5" in 2002 - 2003
21.2" in 1947 - 1948
19.5" in 1959 - 1960
We've set a new record. And winter isn't even over yet.

There's a bench under that tree. Somewhere. (click to embiggen)

I'm so ready for Spring.

Wow- you guys really did get a lot. I'm guessing you didn't go to the studio today.
Erik Rubright replied to Cb on February 9, 2011 at 3:51 pm:
Definitely didn't go to the studio today. Actually, I can't even get out of where I live today. The snow is 2' deep now. And since I live out in the sticks, the roads don't get scraped here.

With the snow, your Jeep looks almost like a cute little steam engine.
Erik Rubright replied to the replicant on February 9, 2011 at 3:56 pm:
All it needs is a little stovepipe and then it could be the little-Jeep-that-could.

how exciting !
we used to have a 'snow meter' which we stuck in the ground in autumn; we could see how many inches of snow there was by how much was buried.
Our snow meter now stands in our backyard - but it seems broken; no snow yet x 5 years, alas.

How exciting my ass - you live in Phoenix. Shut up! LOL
Tai replied to Urspo on February 11, 2011 at 8:17 am:
I may gonna put up one in here too, just in case
Erik Rubright replied to Urspo on February 11, 2011 at 11:31 pm:
I should shovel you some up and send it to you.

Poor man! Please refer to the picture on my blog!

you drive my absolute dream car - a yellow wrangler.
Erik Rubright replied to Kyle on February 11, 2011 at 11:24 pm:
It's actually a wee bit older than the Wrangler line. It's a 1969 CJ-5. I need to replace the carburetor on it, so it's been sitting idle for bit.
