Dad's doing better. He's conscious most of the time now, and isn't as grouchy as he was before. The removed his chest tube as well.
He did have a "mild" stroke following the operation. It has affected his right arm, leg and the right side of his mouth. The neurologists thinks with a little PT he will get regain some of the loss.
On a side note, my mom has become her mother. I'll write about that at some point in the future.

I am in the same boat as you with my Father recently put into a nursing home in Texas after two weeks in the hospital. I sincerely hope your Father makes a strong recovery.

So sorry to hear about your father buddy. I have helped nurse my mum through 3 heart attacks. Im very close to her. *hugs*
