Interesting Times

It's been an interesting couple of weeks to put it mildly: my 36th birthday; leaving my job at the OGRE to become a full-time tattoo artist; and, my Husbear and I will be celebrating our 12 year anniversary on July 1.

I wanted to say thank you to all of you who commented on my last post. I was/am extremely nervous about leaving a "safe" job (i.e., a steady paycheck) and it helped to hear from others encouraging me to do what will make me happy.

Thank you again, to all my readers, for your words of support and encouragement.

Now to figure out what to write about in the future....

Until next time...
Erik

First of all congratulations on all these events.
More important, congratulations on the real event - going into the unknown with fear and courage to go where you know not. I envy and admire you. I look forward to hearing what happens next.

Have you completed the final two weeks at OGRE? Here's to the future!

I suspect plenty of things will come up for you to blog about. There's something about embarking on a new adventure, even if it's an older adventure with new emphasis, that brings about many musings.

And it's not like you can't go back to some sort of desk IT job in the future. Your resume still has all that experience. You'll be fine. You have options. And time. It's all good!

You'll be just fine. Don't be afraid of the unknown - how can you be afraid of something that you don't know about, right?

    Fear: False, Evidence, Appearing, Real

Now, as far as blog topics are concerned - blog about the all the HAWT men you're going to get inked up in your shop! AND we want PICTURES!

Congratulations, blessings, and Cheers! As with Spo, I envy and admire you. And that you have a loving husband to go with you.
