Pic a Day in May: Day 19

Jim of Jim’s Stuff started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge last year. I did it last year, and felt like I’d do it again this year.

Day 19. Sunday.

Barely made this post. Again.

“Chopped Soooieee” went well, and a great time was had. Hopefully by all. I’ll post about it in detail soon, hopefully tomorrow. Those of us who remained all crashed for the night somewhere near 3:30 AM or so. Then up at 9 or so. That made for a tired Erik the rest of today.

I came home and did a bunch of housework, mostly of the construction variety.

Then this evening, along with the Husbear, Mike, and Dwayne, we went to see “Star Trek Into Darkness”. Very well done movie. I think I actually want to see it again. Which is saying something considering I have to be dragged kicking and screaming to a movie theatre.

After that, I watched the season finale of “Doctor Who”. Ho Lee Krapp! That was a seriously intense episode. And awesome. And all full of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff. I’ll be watching that episode again a few times! I might have even clapped a time or two and possibly had something in my eye once.

I went to lock up the house for the evening, and this is what I saw in the mudroom:

µ is... odd
µ is… odd

My kitteh µ is a little odd sometimes. Okay, she’s odd most of the time. Out of all the places to hunkr down for the moment, she picks 3/4 of a shelf and my shoes.

Crazy kitteh.

Off to bed I go now. For I am to get up early in the morning and join the Husbear at the gym. I’m starting tomorrow. We’ll see how this goes.

Until next time...
Erik

  1. She looks SO like my cat, who also tends to take her ease in very eccentric places.

I bet you’re cute when you’re all kicky-screamy and three gay guys are pushing and pulling and generally coercing you.

    1. Kittehs tend to like awkward places it would seem. Just this morning she was laying up laying up under the claw-foot bathtub with her legs up in the air against it.

I don’t know if “cute” is a good adjective. More like “what the hell is wrong with that guy?” 😉
