Pic a Day in May: Day 5

Jim of Jim’s Stuff started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge last year. I did it last year, and felt like I’d do it again this year.

Today’s picture:

“Welcome… to Jurassic Park.”

I still love dinosaurs. I had a deep fascination with them as a kid, and it still rears its head from time to time.

The Husbear and I went to Perot Museum of Nature and Science today in Dallas. Awesome!

Well, it would have been more awesome if there wouldn’t have been 50,000 screaming children running around.

Hopefully this place has a no-kid time for people who want to go explore but not be overwhelmed by screaming crotch fruit.

Still, science rocks!

Also, my apologies to anyone trying to leave a comment and it not working. Blogger Jim, who I got to see in person this weekend, informed me he was having an issue leaving replies. I’m guessing a result of the site being hacked. I’ll have to take a look when I get back to a normal computer and see what’s going on.

Until next time...
Erik

  1. Should you ever be in Chicago, go to the Field Museum that sports a spectacular dinosaur skeleton in it’s enormous great hall. It’s in gorgeous condition and beautifully posed.

About trouble commenting, I haven’t had it but I must always remember to disable the OpenID function or my comment will be rejected.
