12 of 12, December 2020 edition

The 12 of 12 Challenge was created by Chad Darnell and picked up by a number of random bloggers who linked back to him and vice versa. Chad stopped doing the 12 of 12 Challenge in December 2011, but passed the torch to someone who hasn’t kept up with it. I am giving my shout-out to Blobby of Blobby’s Blog as he is the one who initially inspired me to do the Challenge, and he still does it.

After a long, long, long, long, long break in blogging and doing these (November 2018!), this is technically my 84th “12 of 12.” A Saturday.

(Some of these have a * in them in places. I have some future blog posts about the nature of those…)

7:17am: On days the Husbear gets up early, he lets the dogs upstairs and they jump on the bed. Where I’m trying to sleep. Still. Pandora* likes to snuggle up to me. She usually sticks her snout in my armpit, but since that was under the covers this morning…

9:21am: The morning cleaning of the CPAP* mask ritual. Over a year now and I still have to set a reminder to do it*…

10:38am: I’m not sure what they did, but they look guilty…

11:53am: The current state of the fridge and freezer. This week the Husbear had to start a low-FODMAP diet for the next 8 weeks, so I had to go through and figure out what qualified. This is going to be a challenge. For the both of us.

12:30pm: Shopping for that “challenge”. Day three and at least I’m not having a nervous breakdown in the store like the last two days.

2:48pm: The never ending story. Not to be confused with the novel with a similar title.

3:32pm: Another trip back to the grocery. Because I picked up the incorrect type of gluten free flour. Who knew? Now I do. Luckily the grocery is only 4/10s of a mile from the house. Because technically I’m not supposed to be driving*.

4:53pm: Mise en place done and starting to cook. Something I’ve been doing since March thanks to COVID-19*. I should really stop watching cooking shows…

5:33pm: My first low-FODMAP dish from scratch: Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake. Much to my surprise, the Husbear loved it.

6:40pm: And… time to do the dishes. Something else I’ve been doing by hand for a wee bit now.

7:37pm: Would this qualify as meta? A picture of my writing this post?

11:22pm: Watching my favorite series…

Until next time...
Erik

This is my 83rd “12 of 12.” A Monday. My Sunday. And I’m a few days late getting around to posting this. And I somehow ended up 2 pictures short this month. Fail.

12:37 AM: I am not a gamer in any sense of the word, but my bestest buddy Patrick started me playing Red Dead Redemption 2 a day ago, and I have to say, I love it. Mostly because it’s a fairly open world, and you can wander around and do whatever you want for the most part.
12:07 PM: Working on some paperwork for the businesses. It never ends.
1:11 PM: Post-shower selfie. Because monitoring progress over time is good, right? Not that I’m actually doing anything.
2:09 PM: A monetary break from one game to try out another a friend has. An old one. Bioshock. I like it just for the Art Deco design.
4:07 PM: Monday Beveraging. One of my local hangouts: JJ’s!
5:06 PM: Some of my peeps.
6:32 PM: Meowingtonne pre-warming. It’s cold today. 18 degrees!
7:10 PM: Venue change. Monday night pool league. I don’t play, but all my buddies do.
8:09 PM: HQ!
8:57 PM: Another bathroom selfie. And yes, I dressed myself today.

Until next time...
Erik

10:04 AM: Pile of laundry…
10:52 AM: On the way to the studio…
11:39 AM: Some Halloween rubber ducks…
12:26 PM: Keith Haring tattoo…
1:50 PM: Client wants a portrait of his pit bull…
2:00 PM: Wiping out Meowingtonne…
3:59 PM: Quick supply run…
4:47 PM: Setup for my next client…
5:35 PM: The view from the waiting area…
7:16 PM: I think this would make a good tattoo…
8:43 PM: Friends…
9:30 PM: Keys. Not mine.
BONUS: 11:05 PM: Me…

Until next time...

This is my 81st “12 of 12.” A Wednesday.

9:24 AM: Time to gird my loins…
10:15 AM: Mopping the studio before open.
11:04 AM: Messy desk.
11:52 AM: Someone was evil and brought sweets.
1:32 PM: The landlords are remodeling the complex… and pointing brick. *shudder*
3:58 PM: They removed brick here to put up wood siding. Not sure what it’s going to look like in the end.
4:09 PM: Practicing my new Dick Tracy look for the upcoming watchOS update that includes walkie-talkie.
4:48 PM: Rainbow-ish squeezy brain.
5:40 PM: A drunk bee.
8:46 PM: I was craving pizza. This is as close to pizza as I’m allowed to have these days. No tomatoes. 🙁
9:17 PM: Driving home.
11:20 PM: Pandora waiting for me to go to bed.

Until next time...

This is my 80th “12 of 12”! A Sunday. A somewhat busy Sunday. Two different friends from two different states visiting, so the pictures I took were a little lacking as I was more focused on them.

10:53 AM: Mid-morning nap for the pooches.
11:46 AM: I may be a little too organized.
12:34 PM: The Husbear cleaned out his barn.
1:26 PM: Why does she lay like this?
2:15 PM: Sunday drinks with out of town friends.
3:09 PM: Not sure what it was, but the Husbear and gang all liked it.
3:58 PM: Happy!
4:46 PM: Waiting in line at Sonic.
5:31 PM: War Eagle bridge.
5:33 PM: War Eagle Mill.
6:26 PM: The girls outside.
6:26 PM: Luna. Back to her pre-snakebite self.

Until next time...
