1. Was your dad named after anyone?
Yes. His father, as was his father before him, and his before that, and repeat for a few generations. Luckily for me, my father broke with tradition. Having the first name of “Warren” would not have been pleasant. So I got his middle name instead. (And no, I never use his name as a security question online.)

2. What do you think is the minimal age to get married?
I really don’t know. People mature at such different rates. But I do think it should be mandatory that you live with that person first for at least 6 months prior.

3. What’s the longest time that you’ve been involved with the same person?
The Husbear: 13 years, 1 month, 19 days.

4. What actor/actress do you consider hot at the moment?
Zak Spears. See my last post.

5. What is your favorite album by a band?
Several favorites stood out in my head (from the likes of The B-52′s “Bouncing Off the Satellites” and “Good Stuff”, Green Day’s “American Idiot”, Information Society’s “Hack” and “Don’t Be Afraid”, and INXS’ “Welcome To Wherever You Are”), but I thought I’d mention a total one-off for me. It’s an album by a band that isn’t even a favorite band of mine. Especially since they only had 2 albums (although the second is really just a re-cut and re-order of the first with some additional songs). It’s the self titled album by the band “World Entertainment War“. I remember buying it back in my college days because I liked the album artwork. Funny how that happens. The album as a whole, when listened to from the beginning to the end, is incredible.

6. What is your favorite album by an individual artist?
Again, several favorites stood out in my head (Alanis Morissette’s “Jagged Little Pill”, Sting’s “The Soul Cages”, and Joan Osborne’s “Relish”). But let me mention another album that isn’t really be an artist I’d consider a favorite. Kind of. It’s the first solo album from Big Kenny (of Big & Rich) called “Live a Little”. Incredibly well-written and well-performed. And it’s not country music.

7. What is something that you’d rather be a bit dirty?
My martinis?

8. What was the last TV show that you watched?
As in on my television? Or just a TV show by any method of viewing? I watched a “Star Trek: Deep Space 9″ episode or 2 last night on my computer before I went to bed.

9. How many people have you met from the blogosphere? Who are they?
I’ve probably met a lot of people who blog and didn’t know it. However, people I’m consciously aware of as having blogs (on my blogroll) and meeting: Ted at Dead Robot, Michel at Sharkboy, Sandy at Banal Chew/Casita Klatsch, Gary at Gary’s Blog, Mark at Zeitzeuge, Sorted at sorted lives, Robyn at My Journey is just beginning, Matt at Mathias N Oz, and Mike at Mike Says. Hopefully I didn’t leave anyone off the list, but it’s entirely possible. My memory is lacking these days.

10. What’s your philosophy on life?
“No point stressing out. One day you’ll be dead and none of this shit will matter.”

11. Do you think prescription drugs are over prescribed?
Yes. But not nearly enough of them to me.

12. Would you keep a secret from me if you thought it was in my best interest?
Who am I to know your best interest? But a secret is a secret.

13. What is your favorite memory in the last year?
The Husbear grinning. I don’t know why he was grinning or about what. But I happened to see him grinning and felt all fuzzy-happy-content mentally.

14. What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Refrigerated Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

15. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you:
For some odd reason, no one ever seems to peg me as being a Gemini.

16. You can have three wishes (for yourself, so forget all the ‘world peace etc’ malarkey) – what are they?
1) That extraterrestrials will land on Earth and announce they were looking for their prankster buddy they dropped off near Jerusalem about 2000 years ago.
2) That the story line of “Idiocracy” wasn’t coming true.
3) That extraterrestrials will land on Earth and announce that unless the world becomes a post scarcity society (where there is no poverty and no hunger, the pursuit of money is not a driving force, and society is based around self-improvement and collectively improving the human race) within 20 years, they will destroy Earth in order to make way for a hyperspace bypass.

17. Who would you want to get together with and make a cake?
Since you said cake, I’m going to just say “Ace of Cakes” Duff Goldman. Tasty, sugary hotness.

18. Which country is your spiritual home?
I have no spirit. Team or otherwise.

19. What is your big weakness?
Straight guys that are hot.

20. Do you think you’re a good person?
If I answer “yes”, does that mean I’m conceded?

21. What was your best/favorite subject at school?
I barely remember school anymore, aside from the people and a few experiences. But I always loved my art classes. I probably should have paid more attention to that at a young age.

22. Describe your accent:
I don’t have an accent. You do.

23. If you could change anything about yourself, would you?
Who wouldn’t?

24. What do you wear to sleep?
My skin.

25. What is your favorite casual outfit to wear?
Underwear, Shorts, a T-shirt, short socks, and my Chucks.

26. Do you use cigarettes or alcohol?
I feed cigarette butts to the roaches. I figure if that doesn’t kill them, nothing will. And what is this alcohol of which you speak?

27. If I only had one day to live, what would we do together? (If you have no idea, just say something crazy, it’ll entertain me!)
If you only had one day to live, why in Big Bertha’s name would you want to spend it with me?

28. Rate the memes that you play generally. Use any scale or just in order.
They’re typically used as brain dead filler that gives my reading audience little trivial bits of information about me. So I rate them all as AWESOME! Except maybe that one….

It’s been a while since I did one of these memes. I did this rapidly between tattoo clients today. And I stole this one from YvesPaul.

1. Do you own an iPod?
Yes. Several of them actually. I’m not trying to collect the whole set.

2. What person do you talk to on the phone the most?
I guess it would be the Husbear. Although I hate talking on the telephone. I want a phone plan with 0 minutes and unlimited data. I get looked at weirdly when I ask AT&T for that.

3. Do you still remember the first person you kissed?
I’m assuming on the mouth?

4. Do you remember where you were on September 11, 2001?
Sleeping (I had a 3rd shift gig then). Then being woken up by the Husbear to tell me someone had flown a plane into the WTC. I was glued to the TV the rest of the day.

5. What was the last movie you watched?
In a theatre? Avatar. I think.

6. Has anyone ever called you lazy?
Yes.

7. Do you ever take medication to help you fall asleep?
Yes. I have fairly bad insomnia from time-to-time.

8. Has anyone told you a secret this week?
Probably.

9. What will you be doing in one hour?
Tattooing on a client.

10. Are you on a desktop computer or a laptop?
Desktop, although technically the unit is sitting on the floor….

11. Are you currently wanting any piercings or tattoos?
Yes. Do you really want me to elaborate on this?

12. Would you ever date anyone covered in tattoos?
Define “covered”. The Husbear has a fair share of coverage.

13. When is the last time you slept on the floor?
A month or so ago. I was having back issues.

14. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?
7.

15. Do you eat breakfast daily?
I eat constantly throughout the day. It’s easier that way. I don’t know that I would call one of the meals “breakfast” though.

16. Are your days fast-paced?
Not usually. And I’m okay with that now.

17. What did you do last night?
Grocery shopped when I left the studio at 9. Then watched some DS9 while I messed around on the computer. Then I slept on-and-off, and dreamt weird dreams, as always.

18. Do you use sarcasm?
Never!

19. How old will you be turning on your next birthday?
38.

20. Are you picky about spelling and grammar?
I have my moments. The moments become fewer with the introduction of alcohol.

21. Do you get along better with the same sex or the opposite sex?
That’s a darn good question. I’m not sure. I have more friends of the same sex though.

22. Do you watch the news?
Rarely.

23. How did you get one of your scars?
Mental or physical? I have a scar on my forehead from where I was in an auto accident as a child and didn’t have my seat belt on. (Although I just looked in the mirror and I can barely see it anymore.) I have many mental scars from the same time period.

24. What is the last big thing you purchased?
An iPad. As an anniversary gift for the Husbear and myself.

25. Who would you want to be tied to for 24 hours?
No one. Seriously. I wouldn’t want them to poop or pee while we were tied together. And I can’t hold my bladder that long.

26. What is a rumour someone has spread about you?
That I’m straight.

27. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator?
Wait for help to arrive. That’s how I roll.

28. Do you know how to use some words correctly, but not know the meaning?
Yes. That’s what the English language is all about, is it not?

29. Do you know which US states don’t use Daylight Savings Time?
Sadly, I did. Down to the county level in some cases. Doing PC support for a global retailer causes that.

30. Do you want a bright yellow ‘06 mustang?
Seriously? Is this meme this old? And no.

31. What’s something you’ve always wanted?
A larger cock. Hey, you asked.

32. Would you rather swim in the ocean or a lake?
If I have to swim at all, I would choose lake.

33. Do you wear a lot of black?
I wear a wide variety of colors, black being one of them.

34. Describe your hair:
Brownish-black, but graying rapidly.

35. Where is/are your best friend(s)?
On Earth. They don’t know it, but I have them geo-tagged.

Sunday and Monday are my “weekend”.

Since the Great Leak in February, my weekends have been filled with remodeling/construction. (See all the previous posts under the tag “Fables of the Home Reconstruction“.)

The Husbear and I usually go out to eat at some point on Sunday. And sometimes even grocery shopping!

Some Mondays I am able to break away from the remodeling to go “beveraging” with a friend or two. During which time many drunk tweets occur, like this one:

I’m falling behind on this “30 Day Challenge” thingy. Staying busy causes that for me.

This is my day. I should say typically. And a work day, which is Tuesday through Saturday for me.

I groggily wake up a wee bit as the Husbear kisses me goodbye before he goes to work.

I wake up when my body wakes me up, usually around 9:30 AM. No alarm clock anymore!

I meander around the house and tidy up.

I feed and water the kittehs.

Sometimes I trim up my facial hair.

I take a shower.

I dry off.

I get dressed.

I gather my “gear” for the day.

I get in the car.

I go through Sonic and get a Route 44 Diet Coke with Cherry, Vanilla, and Easy Ice, a Route 44 Diet Dr. Pepper with Cherry, Vanilla, and Easy Ice (for the Husbear), and a Jr. Deluxe Burger. I do this often enough the staff at Sonic knows my name.

I drive to my tattoo studio.

I clean and mop the studio before we open.

I tattoo, draw, answer the phone, and consult with clients throughout the day.

I nibble on food all day long. I rarely eat “meals” anymore.

I clean and close the tattoo studio.

I drive home.

I talk with the Husbear about the day and other happenings.

I watch some TV on the computer, while doing other things on the computer such as bills, research, reading blogs, etc.

I tuck the Husbear into bed around 10:30 PM.

I clean the kittehs litter box.

I watch some more TV on the computer, while still doing other things on the computer such as bills, research, reading blogs, etc.

I sometimes play Words with Friends on my iPhone.

I go to bed, sometime around 1:30 AM.

I eventually fall asleep.

Have you ever wondered how your computer’s Internet browser works?
