I really don’t know. People mature at such different rates. But I do think it should be mandatory that you live with that person first for at least 6 months prior.

5. What is your favorite album by a band?
Several favorites stood out in my head (from the likes of The B-52′s “Bouncing Off the Satellites” and “Good Stuff”, Green Day’s “American Idiot”, Information Society’s “Hack” and “Don’t Be Afraid”, and INXS’ “Welcome To Wherever You Are”), but I thought I’d mention a total one-off for me. It’s an album by a band that isn’t even a favorite band of mine. Especially since they only had 2 albums (although the second is really just a re-cut and re-order of the first with some additional songs). It’s the self titled album by the band “World Entertainment War“. I remember buying it back in my college days because I liked the album artwork. Funny how that happens. The album as a whole, when listened to from the beginning to the end, is incredible.

6. What is your favorite album by an individual artist?
Again, several favorites stood out in my head (Alanis Morissette’s “Jagged Little Pill”, Sting’s “The Soul Cages”, and Joan Osborne’s “Relish”). But let me mention another album that isn’t really be an artist I’d consider a favorite. Kind of. It’s the first solo album from Big Kenny (of Big & Rich) called “Live a Little”. Incredibly well-written and well-performed. And it’s not country music.

7. What is something that you’d rather be a bit dirty?
My martinis?

8. What was the last TV show that you watched?
As in on my television? Or just a TV show by any method of viewing? I watched a “Star Trek: Deep Space 9″ episode or 2 last night on my computer before I went to bed.

I’ve probably met a lot of people who blog and didn’t know it. However, people I’m consciously aware of as having blogs (on my blogroll) and meeting: Ted at Dead Robot, Michel at Sharkboy, Sandy at Banal Chew/Casita Klatsch, Gary at Gary’s Blog, Mark at Zeitzeuge, Sorted at sorted lives, Robyn at My Journey is just beginning, Matt at Mathias N Oz, and Mike at Mike Says. Hopefully I didn’t leave anyone off the list, but it’s entirely possible. My memory is lacking these days.

10. What’s your philosophy on life?
“No point stressing out. One day you’ll be dead and none of this shit will matter.”

Yes. But not nearly enough of them to me.

Who am I to know your best interest? But a secret is a secret.

The Husbear grinning. I don’t know why he was grinning or about what. But I happened to see him grinning and felt all fuzzy-happy-content mentally.

For some odd reason, no one ever seems to peg me as being a Gemini.

1) That extraterrestrials will land on Earth and announce they were looking for their prankster buddy they dropped off near Jerusalem about 2000 years ago.
2) That the story line of “Idiocracy” wasn’t coming true.
3) That extraterrestrials will land on Earth and announce that unless the world becomes a post scarcity society (where there is no poverty and no hunger, the pursuit of money is not a driving force, and society is based around self-improvement and collectively improving the human race) within 20 years, they will destroy Earth in order to make way for a hyperspace bypass.

Since you said cake, I’m going to just say “Ace of Cakes” Duff Goldman. Tasty, sugary hotness.

I have no spirit. Team or otherwise.

I barely remember school anymore, aside from the people and a few experiences. But I always loved my art classes. I probably should have paid more attention to that at a young age.

They’re typically used as brain dead filler that gives my reading audience little trivial bits of information about me. So I rate them all as AWESOME! Except maybe that one….

Yes. Several of them actually. I’m not trying to collect the whole set.

I guess it would be the Husbear. Although I hate talking on the telephone. I want a phone plan with 0 minutes and unlimited data. I get looked at weirdly when I ask AT&T for that.

I’m assuming on the mouth?

4. Do you remember where you were on September 11, 2001?
Sleeping (I had a 3rd shift gig then). Then being woken up by the Husbear to tell me someone had flown a plane into the WTC. I was glued to the TV the rest of the day.

In a theatre? Avatar. I think.

Yes.

7. Do you ever take medication to help you fall asleep?
Yes. I have fairly bad insomnia from time-to-time.

Desktop, although technically the unit is sitting on the floor….

Define “covered”. The Husbear has a fair share of coverage.

A month or so ago. I was having back issues.

I eat constantly throughout the day. It’s easier that way. I don’t know that I would call one of the meals “breakfast” though.

Not usually. And I’m okay with that now.

Grocery shopped when I left the studio at 9. Then watched some DS9 while I messed around on the computer. Then I slept on-and-off, and dreamt weird dreams, as always.

I have my moments. The moments become fewer with the introduction of alcohol.

That’s a darn good question. I’m not sure. I have more friends of the same sex though.

Rarely.

23. How did you get one of your scars?
Mental or physical? I have a scar on my forehead from where I was in an auto accident as a child and didn’t have my seat belt on. (Although I just looked in the mirror and I can barely see it anymore.) I have many mental scars from the same time period.

24. What is the last big thing you purchased?
An iPad. As an anniversary gift for the Husbear and myself.

25. Who would you want to be tied to for 24 hours?
No one. Seriously. I wouldn’t want them to poop or pee while we were tied together. And I can’t hold my bladder that long.

That I’m straight.

Wait for help to arrive. That’s how I roll.

Sadly, I did. Down to the county level in some cases. Doing PC support for a global retailer causes that.

This previous post is my typical Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Which is my work week.

Sunday and Monday are my “weekend”.

Since the Great Leak in February, my weekends have been filled with remodeling/construction. (See all the previous posts under the tag “Fables of the Home Reconstruction“.)

The Husbear and I usually go out to eat at some point on Sunday. And sometimes even grocery shopping!

Some Mondays I am able to break away from the remodeling to go “beveraging” with a friend or two. During which time many drunk tweets occur, like this one:

This is my day. I should say typically. And a work day, which is Tuesday through Saturday for me.

1. I groggily wake up a wee bit as the Husbear kisses me goodbye before he goes to work.
2. I wake up when my body wakes me up, usually around 9:30 AM. No alarm clock anymore!
3. I meander around the house and tidy up.
4. I feed and water the kittehs.
5. Sometimes I trim up my facial hair.
6. I take a shower.
7. I dry off.
8. I get dressed.
9. I gather my “gear” for the day.
10. I get in the car.
11. I go through Sonic and get a Route 44 Diet Coke with Cherry, Vanilla, and Easy Ice, a Route 44 Diet Dr. Pepper with Cherry, Vanilla, and Easy Ice (for the Husbear), and a Jr. Deluxe Burger. I do this often enough the staff at Sonic knows my name.
12. I drive to my tattoo studio.
13. I clean and mop the studio before we open.
14. I tattoo, draw, answer the phone, and consult with clients throughout the day.
15. I nibble on food all day long. I rarely eat “meals” anymore.
16. I clean and close the tattoo studio.
17. I drive home.
18. I talk with the Husbear about the day and other happenings.
19. I watch some TV on the computer, while doing other things on the computer such as bills, research, reading blogs, etc.
20. I tuck the Husbear into bed around 10:30 PM.
21. I clean the kittehs litter box.
22. I watch some more TV on the computer, while still doing other things on the computer such as bills, research, reading blogs, etc.
23. I sometimes play Words with Friends on my iPhone.
24. I go to bed, sometime around 1:30 AM.
25. I eventually fall asleep.
