What’s worse: reality shows or--for a lack of a better term--"reality news"? Am I the only one who has noticed the plethora of so-called news outlets that have suddenly started filming in "reality"-type broadcasting? It was bad enough I hated watching the news, but now it seems so insulting the way it is done.

Maybe we are heading to New Orleans after all? We were just watching the news, and a reporter was doing a live report from Bourbon Street. And get this, there were people out walking around already drinking! The only thing missing was the power.

Well, I guess we're not heading to New Orleans for Southern Decadence this year. It would appear Mother Nature has decided to step in with Hurricane Katrina. Robert’s upset, as he has looked forward to this trip most of the year. I guess we'll have to see what else we can do in it’s place.

Heading home from a GREAT long weekend! Robert and I are already making plans to go back again next year!

Wow! New Orleans is definitely an awesome place to party!

Robert and I are heading to Southern Decadence in New Orleans happening over the Labor Day Weekend. This will be the first time either of us have gone to an event like this, so we're both really excited! we're going with several friends of ours, so we won't be going alone. We had another friend who was supposed to go as well, but just started a new job and couldn't take off. Hopefully, we'll have lots of stories and pictures to post after all is said and done.
