Well, here I sit as a passenger headed to KC. We got a little turned around somehow (how do you get lost in Joplin?). Robert dropped me off this morning at work (and he didn't want me to leave!). No more trips for me for a while... I think me not being there is harder on him than it is on me, but it’s still rough to be gone for three weeks.

I'm getting ready for another trip for work--this time I'm going to Kansas City, MO for three weeks. I'll be providing ISD (i.e., computer) support for the Wal-Mart Year End Meeting. Robert’s not to thrilled about the time I'll be gone, but it'll be over before he knows it. Not that I like being away from him, mind you. It’s just a good opportunity for me, and a nice change of pace. We'll just have to see how well Robert can handle me being away...

I can say this officially now--I got a promotion at work, and will be moving to another team. I'm a little scared about the job change (which I guess is to be expected), but am really looking forward to it. This will be my first salaried position with the company (I had been hourly up until now), so I think the biggest change will be no longer "punching the clock."

Robert got home from work early today and pulled more of the downstairs bedrooom apart. He pulled the sheetrock from the wall, and we discovered there was no insulation in the walls at all! That would explain why it was so cold in that room last winter!

Just returned from a good time in Houston. It was a lot of hard work and long hours, and it was a nice break away from "normal" life. Granted, I didn't do anything that would qualify as exciting, but I had a good time none-the-less.

I'm currently a passenger in a vehicle headed for Houston, TX. I'm going there for work. I'm part of a small setup crew for our yearly Holiday Meeting. Not sure what to think about this whole thing yet. But at least I get to take the laptop and work on this site for a change (it’s only a 12 hour drive, and I have to have something to keep me occuppied!). Robert, on the other hand, doesn't really want me gone, but the money is good, and I can start the bathroom remodel at the house when I get back!
