My seventh entry in this “30 Day Challenge” is a photo that makes me happy.

The following photo is almost 8 years old, but it still makes me smile every time I see it.

It’s of the Husbear showing off his kitchen in our new-to-us house that we just had our bid accepted on.

While it’s not the clearest or best photo ever taken, it does capture a special moment that I hope I never forget.

Today, May 4, is the annual anniversary of the day the Husbear was expelled from the womb of his mother-unit.

I’d appreciate it if everyone would please wish him a Happy Birthday, either in a comment here on my blog, or better yet: post something on his Facebook wall or send him a message there. Or maybe all of the above!

Happy Birthday, Husbear. You’re just as young to me today as the day we met almost 13 years ago. I love you so much!

I’m at the drive-thru at Sonic in my small town, at the “place your order here” sign. I place my order of “2 cherry vanilla diet cokes, both with easy ice”.

I must order the same thing way too much, as the cashier says without even seeing my face, “When did you get a truck? I’m always used to seeing you in the little red car.” (The little red car being the “Husbear’s” Toyota Prius.)

Me: “I’ve had the truck for a long time, I just usually get stuck with the car.”

Her: “You look more like a truck person anyway. The red car must be your wife’s.”

I start laughing.

The Husbear makes me giggle. Daily. For 4,571 days now.

That’s one reason why I love him.
