I LOVE downtown LV. Golden Nugget is the greatest – and the paradise buffet in Binions is awesome. You get a mixture of locals and starry eyed visitors in the downtown area. I like it a TON better than on the strip….of course, I have to disclose that I haven’t been to the strip area in over 5 years- but looking forward to see what’s changed since the last time.
I like the strip better, and I think the Husbear does as well after visiting both ends now. I love the architecture and design of the strip, as well as the demographics tending to be a little more shall we say younger and mobile. And way less cigarette smoke inside.
