Are the Hellidays over yet?

I’m already tired of hearing about this sale, and that sale, or this “must have” Xmas item. Actually, I was tired of them about 360 days ago; and, I was just about recovered from that round and then this round started up.

Does anyone remember when the Hellidays were not all about conspicuous consumption? I’m guessing it was sometime around the start of the Industrial Revolution, but I could be wrong.

Spring can’t get here soon enough.
