I have no idea what they’re staring at… other than both want to be let out.

12 of 12, January 2018 edition

Jim, formerly of Jim’s Stuff, started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge three years ago. I’ve done it each year, and will continue since that’s all I pretty much post these days. The only other blogger that I’m aware of who is also doing this is Blobby of Blobby’s Blog.

My 73rd “12 of 12”. Thankfully.

9:47 AM: It’s cold. And we’ve still got a little frozen precipitation on the ground.
12:16 PM: I’m unofficially in the studio since my health scare, but I’m only doing the smaller appointments I have scheduled.
1:13 PM: One of today’s tattoos.
1:58 PM: Sometimes I have to leave hate notes for the salon staff, as we share a common area.
3:08 PM: Simple lunch,. A little more protein than I’m supposed to have though.
3:44 PM: I was supposed to do this portrait of my bestest buddy Patrick’s dad on Tuesday, but I was in the hospital. Sadly, his dad passed away yesterday and won’t get to see it.
4:58 PM: Another small tattoo from today.
8:46 PM: The fauna resting on me. I’m not sure who’s providing warmth to who.
9:29 PM: Watching Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. I’ve read both the books, and I like the way the story is going so far in the show.
10:30 PM: Those aren’t teeth marks. Still got the glue on me from those damn sticky things they stuck all over me.

I’m two photos short. I’ve been tired since the hospital incident. I’m slowly recovering.

Until next time...

I’ve been discharged and am home. Just monitoring my condition. The doctors are leaning towards it having been a muscle spasm of some sorts, but nothing detectable in all the labs. I just know I’d like to never experience that again. Now to get a little actual rest. And to peel all these frakin’ things off without removing too much hair. I swear they stuck these in all the places they didn’t shave.

Meh

For those who haven’t heard, I was admitted to the cardiac unit for overnight monitoring and testing after having what is tentatively being called a heart attack this morning while I was getting ready for work.

Aside from some flushing, I’m “fine” at the current time. As fine as one can be in the hospital.

Keep my Husbear in your thoughts, as he’s obviously a little stressed about the situation.

Until next time...

The irony is not lost upon me…

And now we wait. And get poked. And prodded.
