Tonight I purchased a lottery ticket. Technically I purchased several lottery tickets.
I feel dirty.
Growing up, all I ever heard from my parents (meaning: my father) was that lotteries were bad and preyed on the poor.
But how could I resist? It’s up to over half a billion dollars.
Maybe I’ll feel less dirty if I actually win something.

These were the first I ever purchased myself. I didn’t even know how to purchase them. The attendant at the gas station looked at me like I was… odd.

There were LINES at the gas stations today to buy tickets. It was crazy.
For $1 you get several days of fantasy. Better than a pay-per-view porn site.
Hey, we drove 90 miles to stand in line for 30 minutes to buy nine tickets. Lunch was nice too!
