Definitely. I’m guessing it was “The New Mickey Mouse Club“, which aired between 1977 and 1979.
There’s something ‘off’ about those ears. They appear to have a different logo and the shape of the ears is not quite right. Could those have been homemade?
I remember getting the ears on a trip to WDW with my grandmother and aunt. I’m fairly certain that style of ears was being phased out at that time, but I know that’s what they wore on the show. I managed to find a picture with the same ear-shape, but different logo:

I was thinking the Mayor of Apopka give his annual state of the city address. Wasn’t it Mayor Land – the same guy was mayor for decades.
He was the only mayor I ever knew while living in Apopka. I had to look him up. According to wikipedia: “John Horting Land (November 5, 1920 – November 22, 2014) was Mayor of Apopka, Florida for a total of 61 years, from 1950 to 1968 and again from 1971 to 2014. He was the longest-serving mayor in the history of Florida and one of the longest-serving mayors in the United States.”
I worked on two development jobs in Apoka in the 1980’s, I was went the chamber breakfasts for a while. He was a fixture.
