Blobby picked out the theme for last month. It was “numbers”: the song must have a number in the title. Not the word ‘number’, but an actual numeric digit of some kind. I asked to continue the theme this month, one, because I liked it, and two, because I’m going to be really busy this month.

I’ve been a fan of Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20 since they released Yourself or Someone Like You in 1996. And hey, it doesn’t hurt they’re from Orlando either.

I was kind of hoping INXS would pick up Rob Thomas as lead singer, especially after he did several concerts with them, as well as recorded a few songs with them. But alas…

But Rob has done pretty well solo as well.

I give you Matchbox 20’s 1996 “3 A.M.”:

Until next time...
Erik

  1. If you are a classical buff as I , then this is an easy task, for nearly all symphonies are a number to them. I suppose that does not count.
