The five second rule is a myth – within 1 second dropped food picks up enough pathogens to eat your wrists off. Abjure!
Since we live on a farm, there’s no telling what’s been on the bottom of my feet. So there’s NO WAY I’d pick something off the floor mats and eat it.

Three second rule… They’ll be fine, just blow the fuzz off them before you eat them.
Some days things like this happens. Sad, but I bet the critters will enjoy the snack.
Maybe buy real chicken now? 😉
