I’ve been discharged from hospital and just got home. Thank you to everyone for your well-wishes and positive energy, and thank you to everyone who came to spend time with me. I love you all! Now to get some rest.

  1. I am glad you are discharged. Now the recovery begins. Tell me, who can sleep-well-in a hospital. Speedy recovery. XO

    1. Tuesday morning, was having multiple dizzy/passing out spells that were accompanied by auditory hallucinations and followed by periods of confusion. Had Robert bring me to the ER, where they checked for stroke, etc.: CT scan, 4 MRIs, lumbar puncture, heart ultrasounds, and an EKG all ruled out strokes and other vascular problems. A brief EEG and the symptoms made them bring in a neurologist. They think I am having some type of seizure. Started me on anti-seizure medication and they’ve stopped. Did a 40-hour continuous EEG since 6pm Thursday night to capture brain events. Was discharged Saturday afternoon. Waiting on a follow-up appointment with a neurologist to go over the results of the EEG, and determine what path to go down next.
