Our “puppy” Seven (an Australian Shepherd), had puppies of her own today. We really weren’t sure if she was pregnant, up until about a week ago. Guess Seven was a lot further along than we thought! (It would also appear that she was a little older than the shelter we rescued her from had believed as well.)

The Husbear went outside to feed her tonight, and thought he heard something whimpering. He looked in Seven’s dogloo (yes, a “dogloo”–an igloo-shaped doghouse), and there were 3 jet-black puppies whimpering that Seven was attending to.

Until next time...

Well, this isn’t something that really pertains to the website, but just wanted to let y’all know that I pretty much totaled one of our cars the Pontiac Grand Prix SE] this last day of the millennium on my way home from work. I’m okay, just a little sore from where the seatbelt held me in place during the impact. I slid across a patch of ice on the road coming into a turn, and the car crashed head-on into an old oak tree (not a scratch on the tree!) that sits between a fork in the road.

It just made me realize how important my relationships were with others, and how quickly that can be taken away without warning. I guess I should take that as a sign of what my focus should be as we head into a New Year?

Until next time...
