Pic a Day in May: May 2, 2015

Jim, formerly of Jim’s Stuff, started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge three years ago. I’ve done it each year, and will continue since that’s all I pretty much post these days. The only other blogger I’m aware of that’s doing this also is Blobby of Blobby’s Blog.

Not that I want to get in a tattoo rut, but today I did my first portrait tattoos. After almost a decade of tattooing. On a buddy, who pushed me and believed in me more than I did.

Here’s the result. Ish. Hard to get a flat photo in a round body part.

They will be much lighter when they heal. And I’m hoping they heal well.

Thank you, Patrick, for believing in me more than I do.

Until next time...
Erik

  1. This looks quite impressive; how on earth does this happen? It looks like a very long job, I hope you are paid by the hour?

    1. That one happened with a lot of stress and fretting on my part. Mostly because I had never done one before. And it didn’t take as long as I thought it would, only about 4 hours.
