WordPress finally updated the iOS app to something useable. At least as far as image editing is concerned. That’s been one of my biggest beefs with the app since it came out: I had no way to add captions to, or edit settings with pictures.
But now…
Yay!
Now if they can just make the image auto-linked to itself. (I’m submitting that request to the developers.)
I’m not sure I like the WYSIWYG editor, as it adds all sorts of ugly HTML code in it. (Another code request…)
And maybe auto populating the tags entry field would be nice.
But hey, at least I feel that I can now blog from my phone way better than I could before. Not that I’ve been really blogging these days anyway…
BTW, this is what the code for this post looks like. So messy:

The 12 of 12 Challenge was created by Chad Darnell and picked up from a number of random bloggers who then linked back to him and vice versa. Chad stopped doing the 12 of 12 links in December of 2011, but passed the torch to someone else who sadly hasn’t been keeping up with it. So as always, I’m giving my shout-out to Blobby of Blobby’s Blog as he is the one who inspired me to do it. And still does.
Well, my RSS reader tells me I have 3113 blogs posts I haven’t read yet (and no, none of that’s porn… I use a different reader for that, and it’s even further behind). 1500+ of those are posts by bloggers on my blogroll alone. I’ve tried to play catch up, but it’s not working. So I’m going to just mark everything as read, and start “fresh” from now.
Hopefully I haven’t missed anything uber important…
If anyone happened to wander by these parts the last few days, you would have noticed my blog was… broken.
I’m not 100% sure what happened, but the end result is that I had to rebuild my blog from scratch. And then re-import my post content from a database backup.
It’ll take me a few days, mostly because of other things I have on my plate, to get things back to “Erik normal”.
