‘Tis the Greatest Story Ever Told… about Rubber Duckies

Everyone wants to know about my thing with the rubber duckies. Well, maybe not everyone. But everyone who has asked me about them wants to know.

So it felt like another good opportunity for a video post. Because I know how much y’all love them. 😉

Gawd I’m so twitchy.

But now you know. Kind of.

Until next time...

  1. Nice video. I agree with Dale…Hottie! The Husbear is very lucky. And I saw the two duckies that I sent you!

  2. I swear, Erik, if you get any more adorable it is going to be criminal. (If I had any idea how to make the sound of you saying duckies my ring tone, I totally would.) Loved this peek into your life and space and, as a collector, appreciate your collection. I have a set of rainbow colored duckies I was planning to hand off to someone. Want ’em? (I’m sure you already have a set, but didn’t know how you felt about duplicates.)

    1. Criminal, eh? And I might be able to make good on that ring tone for you.

Ooh… rainbow duckies? I actually don’t have a complete set of rainbow duckies. I’d be honored to host them in my collection!

  3. I like that they are little totems of those who care about you and you are surrounded by them every day.

And for your next video you can get a big tub and reenact that great Ernie and Bert moment by singing the Rubber Duckie Song with your husband.

Yeah, I’m just full of helpful ideas.

    1. I hadn’t even thought about them as totems. I actually like that concept.

I don’t think I could *even* begin to coax the Husbear into a video if rubber duckies were involved.

  4. It’s kind of biblical in a way: Erik and his ducks of many colors. This is the first time I’ve heard your voice to go with your handsome face. Together they make a most attractive, er, package.

    1. I have enough people ask about it that I figured I should attempt to document it. Not that everybody watches this blog… so I’m always getting to tell it over again. 🙂

And thank you. It’s hard to accept that, even though people tell me.

  5. wanted to watch your video but it says “private video”..do I need to join a club to view it? 🙂

    1. That was odd. Apparently because I deleted my Google+ account, YouTube felt the need to make all my videos private and unavailable. I had to create a Google+ account again to correct that.

That being said, the videos are now available again to view.
