Our buddy Dwayne asked if we wanted to go to a car show in Tulsa today. Of course! So he, my buddy Farmer, the Husbear, the housemate Interloper and myself all ventured over in the rainy gloominess.
I’m not a car guy by any stretch, but I love the lines and shapes found on classic automobiles.
Here’s a small sampling of things I found pretty. Since there’s 69 of them, I dropped them down to thumbnail size so I don’t choke your Internet connection.
After the car show, we grabbed some food, then headed to Garden Ridge to look around.
Great photo gallery you’ve made! I remember how heavily the Edsel was ridiculed when it was introduced. A sorts of jokes about the “keyhole” in the front. And it came out later how brutal Henry Ford had been to his son over the whole thing.
I always thought the Edsel was a beautiful car. I’m not really sure what people were thinking back then. Then again, looking at today’s car designs I’m not really sure what they’re thinking now either.

Thanks for this!

Housemate? There’s another wee bear in the house?
Kind of. The housemate’s definitely not a bear. Or a cub. Is there such a thing as a hairy twink? He’ll only be here another month and a half or so.
