I didn’t really notice until today, but the title of my blog had changed from “gambrinous with griffonage” to “erik rubright”. That probably happened when I changed from my original handcrafted creation to this theme that I heavily bastardized. Who knows. Actually, I might have noticed at some point but it didn’t really “click” until today. So I corrected that. Hopefully I didn’t confuse anyone. At least any more than normal.
I don’t have anything against using my name as my blog title, but it doesn’t sound as confusing as “gambrinous with griffonage”. And I like to be confused.
Until next time...
I read from your webfeed, which has always said “Erik Rubright.” Your failed efforts to confuse me has brought me much mirth this morning. I AM TRIUMPHANT!!
Wait a second… what the heck does “gambrinous with griffonage” mean? I am confused.
Oh…
That’s odd. In my feed reader it’s always said “gambrinous with griffonage”. What the deuce kind of witchery is this?
“Gambrinous with griffonage?” Gambrinous is an obscure word meaning “being full of beer.” Illegible handwriting is known as “griffonage.” My handwriting has always been horrible, and much more so when I am drunk.
I’m with Dave2, too on this one. You have always come across as the “Erik Rubright” sort of guy in Google Reader, even when coupled with Reeder on my various iDevices.
And like Dave2, too, I am perplexed by the meaning of the “Gambrinous with griffonage” title. I blame the erroneous change on the WordPress iPad app. I blame everything on that app.
I crafted my original blog theme from scratch. After the WP3 update, I switched to another theme. I think somewhere in that theme switch, the actual title of my blog got buried. I’m not sure how the RSS bit was configured, but oh wells….

I noticed the name thing, but failed to mention it to you, thought you did it on purpose… I don’t know, I’m confused too!
Oh lords, I just seem to be causing mass confusion these days. And it was not even knownst to me! I’m losing my touch.
Wait You’re transitioning? Do we call you Gambri now or Ms G? I confused.
Actually, I just corrected a change I didn’t realize had happened. I’m quite oblivious that way.
And just call me before last call!
I figured you did it on purpose too, after getting tired of people constantly asking what it means. BTW, what does it mean?

Oddly enough, until you clarified how to say it in a post a while back, I always pronounced your last name, Rubright, “Griffonage”
*snicker*
Griffonage seems like a great surname to me. Maybe I should change it. Or use that as my porn name.
The mobile theme of your blog appears perfectly on my browser.
A rose by any name would smell as sweet.
Especially if the rose is dipped in something sweet beforehand.
Is this your real blog?? I accessed it from my home computer— through WIFI…. Oh Happy DAY!
Yep. It is my “real” blog. I only have one. I wonder what DirecTV did to finally fix their proxy issue?
