After a fun two nights in Dallas for the Husbear’s birthday, we left this morning and headed southeast to the Gulf of Mexico.
Why? Because the Husbear likes the smell of the ocean. So it’s what we did.
After skimming the coastline for a bit, we turned back northeast to head for home.

I still love dinosaurs. I had a deep fascination with them as a kid, and it still rears its head from time to time.
The Husbear and I went to Perot Museum of Nature and Science today in Dallas. Awesome!
Well, it would have been more awesome if there wouldn’t have been 50,000 screaming children running around.
Hopefully this place has a no-kid time for people who want to go explore but not be overwhelmed by screaming crotch fruit.
Still, science rocks!
Also, my apologies to anyone trying to leave a comment and it not working. Blogger Jim, who I got to see in person this weekend, informed me he was having an issue leaving replies. I’m guessing a result of the site being hacked. I’ll have to take a look when I get back to a normal computer and see what’s going on.
