The Husbear, our buddies Dwayne and Ross (no relation), and I will be in Chicago for Memorial weekend (next weekend!). Which coincidentally happens to be when IML is taking place also. This is only my second time in Chicago, with the last being the previous Fourth of July. That said, I’m looking for suggestions on things to do in Chicago while we’re there. And will any of you be there while I’m there?

I have this method of ranking music in my library, which currently consists of 34,968 songs: By default, all new songs in my library get ⭐️⭐️⭐️. As I listen to them, I sort them as follows: ⭐️ means it’s “rubbish” (as Dr. Spo would say) and I’ll probably delete it from the library, ⭐️⭐️ means it’s just “meh” but I’ll probably keep it, ⭐️⭐️⭐️ means it’s okay and we will probably talk over it, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ means I really like and may potentially sing at random, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ means everyone better shut the fuck up because my song is on! You know the kind of songs I’m talking about. We all have them.
These are mine, one post at a time.
I’m starting my approach to this with songs I’ve given ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to in iTunes. There’s only 90 of them at the moment. I’ll probably sneak in an occasional ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ as well.
Back to another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ song. And a cover. A bluegrass cover of a punk song. Two things that make me do the happy clap.

Jim, formerly of Jim’s Stuff, started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge three years ago. I’ve done it each year, and will continue since that’s all I pretty much post these days. The only other bloggers that I’m aware of who are also doing this are Blobby of Blobby’s Blog and Patrick of Pac’s Pad.
