12 of 12, March 2018 edition

The 12 of 12 Challenge was created by Chad Darnell and picked up by a number of random bloggers who linked back to him and vice versa. Chad stopped doing the 12 of 12 Challenge in December 2011, but passed the torch to someone who hasn’t kept up with it. I am giving my shout-out to Blobby of Blobby’s Blog as he is the one who initially inspired me to do the Challenge, and he still does it as well.

My 75th 12 of 12. A Monday. My Sunday.

And I spent a chunk of it working on the business taxes, which Arkansas wants on March 15th instead of April 15th. Ugh.

9:12 AM: After being awakened by a call from one of the stylists that one of the shampoo bowls is leaking all over the place, I had to get to the salon and fix it. Fun way to wake up.
11:34 AM: Methinks they’re up to something
12:33 PM: Speaking of taxes… ugh.
2:26 PM: The Husbear saying “bye” as he was going to Springfield, MO for a concert with a buddy.
6:15 PM: Cuneiform in the men’s restroom?
6:48 PM: It’s nice to see the sun still up at this time.
7:07 PM: Evening feeding time.
7:13 PM: And I managed to lock myself out of the house while monitoring the pups potty break.
8:11 PM: I didn’t do it, but this might be the reason I always have a Sharpie on my person.
8:35 PM: My bestest buddy, Patrick!
8:47 PM: Pool league. I’m not on it, but I hang out and watch. Okay, drink.
10:16 PM: Speaking of drinking…
Baker’s Dozen: 1:05 AM: Time to go to bed, so let’s take a #selfie!

Until next time...

My 74th 12 of 12. A Monday. My Sunday. At least this week it is.

9:53 AM: Working on getting the house warm. I loathe winter.
10:47 AM: Luna, chillaxing.
11:41 AM: Drying the prep food bowls.
12:45PM: Trip number one to the auto parts store.
1:58 PM: Another trip to a different auto parts store.
2:50 PM: The cause of going to the auto parts stores. And it still isn’t right. *grumble*
3:45 PM: Milli being milli.
4:22 PM: One of the fields near the house is on fire.
5:36 PM: Barry!
7:04 PM: The Husbear.
7:22 PM: Pool league.
8:14 PM: Some of the gang. We’re a gang!?
Bonus at 10:55 PM: More pool.

Until next time...

Jim, formerly of Jim’s Stuff, started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge three years ago. I’ve done it each year, and will continue since that’s all I pretty much post these days. The only other blogger that I’m aware of who is also doing this is Blobby of Blobby’s Blog.

My 73rd “12 of 12”. Thankfully.

9:47 AM: It’s cold. And we’ve still got a little frozen precipitation on the ground.
12:16 PM: I’m unofficially in the studio since my health scare, but I’m only doing the smaller appointments I have scheduled.
1:13 PM: One of today’s tattoos.
1:58 PM: Sometimes I have to leave hate notes for the salon staff, as we share a common area.
3:08 PM: Simple lunch,. A little more protein than I’m supposed to have though.
3:44 PM: I was supposed to do this portrait of my bestest buddy Patrick’s dad on Tuesday, but I was in the hospital. Sadly, his dad passed away yesterday and won’t get to see it.
4:58 PM: Another small tattoo from today.
8:46 PM: The fauna resting on me. I’m not sure who’s providing warmth to who.
9:29 PM: Watching Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. I’ve read both the books, and I like the way the story is going so far in the show.
10:30 PM: Those aren’t teeth marks. Still got the glue on me from those damn sticky things they stuck all over me.

I’m two photos short. I’ve been tired since the hospital incident. I’m slowly recovering.

Until next time...

My 71st “12 of 12”. And the only thing I still actually post manually. Currently. I still apologize to those of you who have commented on my posts and I’ve not replied. I need to work on that more than I have been.

I’m three pictures short this month. My phone and I had disagreements on what “being in focus” meant, as you can tell from one or two of the shots I posted. The rest were just horrifically blurry, and not because I was.

*****

11:08 AM: Dishes to do following our Friendsgiving the night before.
12:16 PM: Back porch is cleaned up (mostly), after Friendsgiving.
3:28 PM: I see a face in the wet spot.
3:41 PM: Goldilocks and the 3 bears. I’m not sure who is what.
5:12 PM: Our buddy Dwayne from STL is comfy on the couch, and Luna is as well.
6:04 PM: Pirates. Fluff movie.
6:51 PM: milli judging our movie choices.
9:34 PM: She’s still worn out, apparently.
10:51 PM: Bedtime rituals.

Until next time...

Not sure how I missed hitting the “Publish” button, but when I went back to look at my blog, it was missing.

Today’s 12 is on a Saturday. And a friend from Florida is visiting. And I failed to take a lot of good shots, mostly because I hit the beveraging a little harder than I thought I did. So this is what you get…

8:32 AM: One for night, and one for day.
10:41 AM: First tattoo of the day. And the start of a large leg piece.
2:50 PM: Finished product. For this session, at least.
4:07 PM: Handing with my peeps. And a ghost.
8:06 PM: My buddy working.
8:17 PM: More buddies. One visiting from Florida!
8:48 PM: The Husbear and me.
8:49 PM: Me.
8:54 PM: Me, again. In the bathroom.
9:27 PM: Someone was hungry.
9:27 PM: Some of the barstaff.
9:29 PM: Another buddy.

Until next time...
