So much for any big, wordy posts so far. So I leave you with some ramblings instead.

I went from whatever illness I had the week before to something new with my respiratory system. Lovely. I’ve been coughing and horking up green lung cookies for the last few days.

Tomatoes and tomato products make my tongue swell up. I was reminded of this tonight as I was eating a BLT.

We have owned our home for a little over 12 years now, and I just realized there are 13 steps you have to take from the ground floor to the second floor. Odd.

Today was unusually warm. Warm enough that we broke a record set back in 1990. It got up to 73°F. Even though I’m under the weather for the most part, it was nice enough to work on the barn a little more…

It’s been mentioned before, but I’m not the most social human on the planet. In most public situations I tend to feel that I have the social skills of a 10-year-old raised by wolves, aside from within the doors of my businesses (and even that can be iffy at times). I’d rather gnaw off my own arm than strike up a conversation with a stranger.

Random thought: what happens if you are picking your nose and the airbag goes off in your auto?
—–
And this is still one of my favorite songs and videos as of late… Capital Cities “Safe and Sound”:
Sebu has a mighty nice beard.
Until next time...
for the airbag / picking thing? Best case scenario: a broken finger. Worse case? You’ve become an unlicensed non-board certified neurosurgeon with probable devastating results.
Either way, *shudder*.
That respiratory bug’s been making its way through my office. I had bronchitis a little over a week ago, two co-workers had H1N1, fevers, coughs…I feel as though we need to shut down the office and hire a sanitizing crew.
I hope you feel better soon!
There definitely needs to be more sanitizing these days it would seem.
I’m feeling more human today, finally. Hope you are as well!
My my my…nice beard!
My nose is hurting just reading this post…
He does have a most excellent beard… 🙂
Capital Cities puts on an incredibly high energy show. Worth it to see them in concert.
Now if they’d only play somewhere around these parts…
13 steps is pretty normal if you have standard 8-foot high ceilings, or at least it was back in the day when I was still doing architecture.
There’s definitely nothing “standard” about this old house, that’s for certain. But I do think the downstairs ceilings are at 8′.
Everyone you know was a stranger at some point and do we ever really know someone? Just pondering I guess….
And some people are even stranger once I get to know them… 😉
I didn’t know or had forgotten about the tomato matter. Poor fellow.
It’s just one of many strange quirks about me. 🙂
