It’s curious : two men out without women. Nowadays I suppose this means they are a male couple. I know straight men who are not comfortable going out with another man lest they be identified as gay.
In July my parter and I will visit Utah; I wonder if we will be supposed as missionaries,.
I still think it’s “funny” when two guy won’t sit next to each other in a booth/table/movie theatre, etc., just because they don’t want to be mistaken for gay.
If you both wear white shirts and black ties to Utah, you might feel more welcomed. 😉
