I miss the scenery and cool summer temps of Colorado…but not the winter weather or the drivers!
@voenix.rising we passed maybe 5 other vehicles on the mountain. And a couple off road bikers. Granted, indie have it in 4 Low and we were doing maybe 5 mph. LOL

I drove Hagerman Pass a few times when I lived in Colorado. I always thought it was underrated & would take visiting friends on that drive.
@sandmtntexan I’d definitely say it was breathtaking. Except for the mosquitoes up by the 10th Mountain hut.
lol I wondered whether anyone else had ever had that experience. The one time I camped along Hagerman Pass was the one time I encountered mosquitoes in CO. And it was worse than any experience in the South!
I’ve seen mosquitoes in the Mississippi delta that could carry off small children, and the ones up on Hagerman were freakin’ pterodactyls!
