We’re tidying up the house for an upcoming party this weekend. Which involves power washing the deck behind the house, as well as the outside of the house itself.

In doing so, I managed to drain our well.

We let it recharge, and the Husbear and Luna were both able to take their baths. I let the well recharge for a bit, then got in to take a “Navy” shower: get wet, shut off the water, soap up, then rinse off. I turned the water back on to rinse off after I had fully lathered up. And there was no water.

Lovely.

I had the Husbear run into town and purchase a few gallons of water to rinse off with. And I did. And it was… cold.

Jim, formerly of Jim’s Stuff, started the “Pic a Day in May” challenge three years ago. I’ve done it each year, and will continue since that’s all I pretty much post these days. The only other blogger that I’m aware of who is also doing this is Blobby of Blobby’s Blog.

Until next time...
Erik
