Seen this before, but it’s so very, very well done. Brings back fond memories of an old job! Hope you’re safe and well! x 🙂
I’m still a big fan of the 1981 television version with Peter Jones’ voice.
I don’t understand….
Watch this: http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/The_Hitchhiker_s_Guide_to_the_Galaxy/60022509. Then you shall understand… the animation style.
Ah, how I love the TV series of H2G. It was perfectly pitched, and wonderfully bizarre. In the fact the only (and I mean the ONLY) two things I liked about the film they made of H2G was the cameo by TV Marvin, and that they used the theme tune for a few brief moments. The DVDs of the TV series that were available here some years ago had an interesting extra as well. I clickable picture of the book itself would pop up and ask for a four digit code. If you entered 1146, it blew up the Earth for you…
I was so not a fan of the movie “remake”. I think it’s a good introduction to the original material for someone who has never read the books or seen the TV series (or heard the radio broadcast!).
I’m so going to have to look and see if that easter egg is on the US-release of the DVDs!
fantastic!
ALmost as good as Vogon poetry !
I’d prefer a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster before I listen to Vogon poetry.
