One day sometime last decade when I was home on a sick day I was laying on the couch listening to the television. Yes, listening. It’s what I do. It was on, but more for background noise as I drifted in and out of consciousness. I think it was on Canada’s MuchMusic video station. Like MTV, but they actually play videos.
This song came on. I was instantly fascinated.
I couldn’t even really tell you why I like this song. But I do. The tempo. The weird catwalk feel. The recycled “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” lyrics (a movie that I’ve never actually seen). It’s all mesmerizing.
That said, I present you Dimitri From Paris’ “Une Very Stylish Fille”:
Until next time...
(a) Thanks for sharing that. The MP3 was kind of difficult to track down, but I finally found it.
(b) You’ve NEVER seen “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”? Turn in your gay card RIGHT NOW, Mister! Never mind that it’s a great film, George Peppard was HAWT.
(a) I’ve got the entire album if you’d like to “borrow” a copy of it… 😉
(b) There’s a lot of movies I haven’t seen. People have been asking for that card back for years. I just never got it in the mail originally though.
Oh I reckon it’s an English French phrase 🙂
Thanks for sharing! Visually intriguing; auditorially soothing.
Every now and again I seem to stumble upon music like this. Intriguing is an apt description for it, actually.
Love it!
hohoho
I do the opposite; I have the TV on with the volume down; this is particularly true when watching sports. However I seldom watch either.
