12 of 12: July 12, 2016 edition

The 12 of 12 Challenge was created by Chad Darnell and picked up by a number of random bloggers who linked back to him and vice versa. Chad stopped doing the 12 of 12 Challenge in December 2011, but passed the torch to someone who [sadly] hasn’t been keeping up with it. I am giving my shout-out to Blobby of Blobby’s Blog as he is the one who initially inspired me to do the Challenge, and he still does.

This is my 55th “12 of 12.” A Tuesday. We got home yesterday evening from our July walkabout, so it’s a “down day” to get things in order before we return to our regularly scheduled lives.

9:02 AM: Laundry. So much laundry. How do two grown men go through so much laundry on a 10 day trip? I can't even guess how many loads it'll take.

1:10 PM: I mostly got the interior of the Jeep clean. Mostly. I wiped it out with a wet towel last night, then had to do it again this morning. I think most of the dust is gone. For now.

3:52 PM: And... me! After seeing the photos from our trip, I decided maybe I needed to tone down the gray in my beard a wee bit. While I like the gray, I don't think I'm in fact ready for it.

  1. A camping trip to Glacier National Park sounds fun. I would need to convince my husband though. He prefers a bed, bathroom and A/C.

  2. I am afraid the gray in the beard is a harbinger of what’s to come.
    You need to trim close or dye or (no!) no beard.
    better yet, be at ease with your silver lined life.
