Perverts. I know *exactly* what you were thinking.
But I mean the other kind of facial:
This xkcd comic reminds me that I’ve never actually had a facial. Nor do I “pamper” my skin either, aside from rubbing lotion on my tattoos on occassion.
So I’m curious, do you pamper your skin? And if so, in what way?
Until next time...
I have a facial cleanser in the shower, and I use lotion when I remember.
OK, I’ll say it because SOMEONE has to: I’ve had many facials. Is it pampering my skin? Who knows? I like it, but the product I use is free 🙂
I figure if I do all that work to get the product, the last place it’s going is on my face… 😀
I don’t do anything special except put Nivea lotion on my face in the morning. That’s it. I’ve a had a facial, and eh….it was okay.
I went to a salon once that did a rose and mint facial with a hot towel and massage while they were washing my hair, it was really quite pleasant. You should take a spa day and get some type of pamper package… I would be curious to read a blog about your experience.
Southern Decadence is coming up, I’m sure you’ll have many opportunities to get a free facial there. Maybe even by multiple applicators.
It’s the derma-abrasion I’m afraid of… 😉
I don’t do anything overly special, but here’s the routine:
Dove Exfoliating Soap to wash.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Lotion with Alpha-Hydroxy acids. (I swear, put some on this on a pimple and it will go away faster.)
In the winter, I use Aveeno Lotion on my face (and elsewhere). It’s richer, but not overly heavy.
A facial scrub once or twice a week.
And try not to get too much sun on the face!
go get a facial – jolly good fun and sooo relaxing.
I’m fairly certain I would be laughing too hard during the process. I’m kind of immature like that.
It rubs the lotion on its skin, else it gets the hose again.
It just rubs it in certain places. Repeatedly.
