My eighth “12 of 12”.

All pictures were taken with my iPhone 3GS. One more month maybe and I’ll get a better camera finally? As always, click the images to enlarge if you choose.

The 12 of 12 challenge was created by Chad Darnell and picked up from a number of random bloggers who then linked back to him and vice versa. Chad stopped doing the 12 of 12 links in December of 2011, so I’m linking to Blobby’s Blog as Blobby is the one who inspired me to do it.

11:01 AM: I just woke up. It was a long, late night that I should probably blog about. And apparently my phone’s time and the clock’s time don’t match.

11:17 AM: The Husbear, working on the walls in the yard.

11:25 AM: Only two sunflowers survived the drought. This one always seems to have the most variety of bees on it.

12:01 PM: At Lowe’s. Getting the materials to make the very last station for the salon. Praise Zombie Jeebus!

12:01 PM: The Husbear, always on his phone, being “social”.

12:53 PM: That fence really needs to be cleaned. I’ll add it to my list of things to do. And I’m not sure what the dogs are doing. But they’re doing whatever it is that dogs do.

1:21 PM: Taking a break. And who knows what Sophie is doing.

5:19 PM: The station assembled. And ready to be painted.

5:25 PM: Ray of light shining down on my dinner of champions.

7:52 PM: The final sitting at the last station to be upgraded.

8:20 PM: Happy clouds. I see a face, don’t you?

My seventh “12 of 12”.

**10:28 AM:** I overslept a little bit today. By an hour-ish. My body normally wakes me up around 9:30. And yes, it really is that dark in the bedroom.

**10:29 AM:** The contact. Well, one of two. I’m back to wearing them again. Just because I have to wear reading glasses now when I work.

**11:19 AM:** Our corn doesn’t pop up in rows. I’m not even sure why we planted corn, actually. And so little of it.

**11:21 AM:** At the bottom of our property. Where we’re parking temporarily until we get the driveway grated. Again.

**1:35 PM:** Getting ready to tattoo! And I’m soooo not a fan of my reading glasses. Or the fact that I’m looking over the top of them.

**2:49 PM:** Hmm… possibly a new tattoo for moi? Then again, I already have one Dalek tattoo on my body.

**7:56 PM:** Just a quick snack. I think. I’m wondering why it reminds me of a Malox bottle….

**9:33 PM:** Driving home from the studio. And the store.

**9:45 PM:** The Husbear left me a little surprise in the fridge. One that my tummy doesn’t really need. But I’m sure I’ll eat it anyway.

**9:50 PM:** Someone wants something. Maybe she knows about that snack in the fridge that the Husbear left me.

**10:02 PM:** Tucking the Husbear into bed for the night.

Technically I’ll probably be up for another 3 hours, but I’ve already got 12 pictures here. And nothing else will probably happen that would be photo-worthy during those 3 hours. Because I’m boring like that. And because I need to press [Publish].

My sixth “12 of 12”. I almost forgot that it was the 12th, even though I had a reminder set. So I got a little late start. Actually, I didn’t get out of bed until sometime around 10:30 or so, so it wasn’t really that late a start anyway.

12:27 PM: Time for a drive. A drive to the store. And apparently time to clean my dash as well.

1:40 PM: Groceries. And electronics. And stuff.

3:50 PM: The Husbear now has a television. In the upstairs bathroom. Now he'll be in there for hours.

4:52 PM: Testing out the new DVR. Because I'll have to explain to the Husbear how to use it.

5:03 PM: Regardless of what the label says, it does NOT taste like peanut butter. And then there's the not-so-wow aftertaste.

6:23 PM: µ is not enjoying this bath experience.

Here’s a video of µ getting a bath. She is not amused.

7:50 PM: The Husbear asking me how far away Yellowstone is. It is a long way away.

8:58 PM: The horse-pill of an antibiotic I'm taking to help me get over whatever the heck it is I've got.

10:25 PM: The Husbear "sampling" the banana split he brought me.

11:33 PM: Looking up under the pergola. Because I needed to go outside to urinate.

I’m doing my fifth “12 of 12”. How is that for me sticking to something?

10:11 AM: I just woke up. And this is the view from the upstairs toilet. One of these days we’ll actually get around to doing some remodeling up here.

10:35 AM: Apparently the Husbear bought some roses. I missed that memo.

11:39 AM: Now everything smells like clean linen AND poop!

11:41 AM: Michelle, the salon’s receptionist.

1:03 PM: I just pulled the business mail from the mailbox. And wow! That seems like a risque cover for TIME.

3:13 PM: The view out of my window at the studio. And a rare moment of me looking out of it.

7:49 PM: Gavin, the studio’s piercer and one of three tattooists, enjoying a cigar.

7:55 PM: What the front of my studio looks like. I dig it.

8:12 PM: And a rare moment of me sitting OUTSIDE my studio.

9:15 PM: The start of a supply run at the store.

9:46 PM: And 30 minutes later…. Yes, there are products in it that scare me too.

10:33 PM: A certain blogger friend reminded me in conversation that I was out of Guinness. So I had to drive up to Missouri to get more beer. Because we live in a dry county. A FUCKING DRY COUNTY! And then I have to drive back to Arkansas to drink it.

11:06 PM: Home. Unwinding from the day and week. With a Guiness. My weekend starts now!

Jim of Jim’s Stuff started his own version of the “Pic a Day in May” challenge. So I thought I’d go ahead and give it a shot. It’s not like I can really think of anything to blog about these days anyway. So we’ll go with my life in pictures. There’s that whole “a picture is worth a thousand words” thing anyway, so that just means I need to write less. 😉

I’m doing my fourth “12 of 12”. Can you believe I’ve stuck with something for so long? 😉

I have a difficult time figuring out when to start my “12 of 12”. Since I work odd hours (compared to the rest of you humans), the 12th starts on my 11th. So I’m going with that for this round of “12 of 12”.

1:34 AM: Unwinding from a day of tattooing. Listening to some BS:G while reading blogs.

2:08 AM: Bedtime. Seriously, that’s how dark our bedroom is.

10:13 AM: The stack of magazines in the bathroom. The Husbear likes to read. Unfortunately he doesn’t get rid of the magazines when he’s done.

10:18 AM: Sophie waiting outside the back door for her morning breakfast. (And yes, there’s a bathtub on our back deck… for now.)

10:21 AM: A picture of myself that resulted from a comment made on this post on Voenix Rising.

12:07 PM: Can you tell I live in Razorback country? I wonder if that’s Jessica Dorrell’s vehicle?

12:45 PM: I bought a new clock today. I have a thing for funky clocks. I think this one qualifies.

7:32 PM: Don’t you hate when your zipper flap doesn’t stay down? I’m not one for ironing.

10:31 PM: Running a new security camera cable in the Husbear’s salon. Because sometimes these things just have to be done.

11:20 PM: Lost Highway, Bentonville to Pea Ridge style.

11:31 PM: Toe damage. I was repositioning my tattoo chair tonight and somehow managed to kick it. HURT LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER! I didn’t take my shoe off to check, but I wasn’t sure if I broke my nail or toe. Looks like it was the nail. Ouch.

11:46 PM: Apparently the Husbear purchased some new chicks today. More mouths to feed….

And the lame baker’s dozen: 11:50 PM: Watching an episode or two of “Chopped” before I go to bed in an effort to get the hang of the emcee thing for this Saturday.

I’m doing my third “12 of 12”.

8:59 AM: Breakfast. Kind of. I’m just too lazy to take a vitamin. Plus I like the flavor.

9:00 AM: The Husbear’s banana trees. These will be transplanted outside here soon. To grow and grow and grow.

9:06 AM: A big pile of artwork to work on for upcoming tattoo appointments. I’m booked out about a month at this point. And I’m entirely okay with that.

11:20 AM: Fresh out of the shower! The Husbear’s bathrobe hanging up behind me makes me look like I have a mullet.

12:36 PM: And as of today, my tattoo studio is now open 7 days a week! I had to scrape off the old closed sign on the door and put this sign up temporarily until the sign guy can come put new stickers on the window.

3:18 PM: The lady ahead of me in line at the Post Office. She had her hand down the back of her pants. Digging. I just missed capturing the magic. And then avoided touching everything she did.

4:20 PM: It’s Beveraging Monday! For those of you who follow me on Twitter and Facebook, you are well aware of the awesomeness that is Beveraging Monday.

4:38 PM: Ashley, the bestest bartender ever, brought me a rubber ducky! A light up rubber ducky!

5:10 PM: Look who shows up for beveraging? It’s Mike! It really wouldn’t be Beveraging Monday without Mike.

8:15 PM: And then we were joined by both the awesome GypsyBiscuit and MAG! This is what happens when you leave your phone unaccompanied at the table.

8:15 PM: MAG also got in on the unaccompanied phone action.

8:54 PM: If only the beer glasses were that large….
